What Is Structured Cabling

A Structured Cabling System is defined as the complete collective configuration of cabling and associated hardware at a given site which has been installed to provide computer network and telecommunication infrastructure & designed to support a wide range of software protocols, applications and compatible equipments.

In terms of cost of entire network, the foundation (SCS) represents only a fraction of total investments but contributes high-end performance and value far beyond its cost.

As the name suggests “Information Transport Systems” transports Information which we in the Networking Industry also refer to as Data via a Structured Manner within a Network.
